Research Areas

Our empirical research is organised into five interconnected thematic clusters, each supported by state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructure that foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. Collectively, these clusters contribute to the Strategic Research Themes of our Faculty of Social Sciences, particularly Population, Wellbeing and Human Behaviour and AI, Society and Social Dynamics, reflecting the Department’s commitment to addressing pressing societal challenges through rigorous scientific inquiry and cross-disciplinary research.
