RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research investigates how dynamic interactions between the brain and body shape cognition, emotion, and behaviour. Through the integration of experimental research and computational modelling, I aim to uncover the mechanisms underlying these psychophysiological processes. In addition, I aim to translate these insights into innovative real-world solutions designed to promote well-being and enhance human performance.
My research interests include:
Computational Psychophysiology: Developing advanced computational and analytical methods to quantify, model, and predict complex brain-body interactions underlying cognition, emotion, and behaviour.
Stress and Health: Investigating the neurobiological mechanisms and biomarkers underlying acute stress responses, resilience, and psychological adaptation, with the goal of understanding how stress influences mental and physical health across the lifespan.
Innovation and Technology Development: Designing, developing, and validating technology-driven solutions, including wearable devices, digital health platforms, and artificial intelligence applications, to enhance cognitive performance, promote psychological resilience, and improve mental well-being.
